The only real complaint about it that I have is the keyless chuck, I don't trust them, but it hasn't given me any problems yet. If you are just looking for a cheap drill for basic stuff around the house you could do a lot worse than this one - the price is low but it's actually a decent quality tool that should last a good while. this is a good, basic 3/8" electric drill, I use it a lot around the house when I just don't feel like lugging around my big 1/2" Makita. Easy enough to replace with a Jacobs keyed chuck when it dies.
Very happy with drill. Would call it a medium-duty, but it works like a champ.
Looked like new, with a new box. This is a great drill, especially at the reconditioned price. Like the ratcheting chuch.
It is very easy to ramp up the speed - the drill handles this well. Sometimes refurbished items come like new, sometimes they're a little worse for the wear. It is unclear from the description, but the refurbished drill does not come with any drill bits.2. This drill is not overly loud like some.4. This seems like a pretty good drill so far. Note:1. mine is a little beat up and dirty, but overall works fine.3.
Powerful and lasts a long time. I have 11 in the field now. I have used this drill motor for years now in my construction business. It does not lug down.
